Job Description

Key Responsibilities :
  • Develops policies and internal processes as per the RERA.
  • Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved as per the norms of RERA.
  • Monitors and as necessary coordinates compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends as per RERA.
  • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk as per RERA, develops corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
  • Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep the senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities on RERA matter and address the concern on any notices pertaining to RERA from the authorities.
  • Works with stakeholders as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training on RERA to the internal stakeholders

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Formulate compliance check-lists to be used for the purpose of RERA working with all stakeholders
  • Prepare, review and modify REAR submissions/updates
  • Coordinating with panel of advocates, legal experts and other institutions for obtaining legal opinion as appropriate
  • Handling RERA matters raised by customers/others
  • Develop, nurture, maintain relationships with respective RERA authorities

  • An LLB Degree.
  • Thorough knowledge of Real Estate Industry and RERA
  • Ability to read, write and translate local language is a desirable
